A long time indeed.

Ummm, where should I start from ? A lot has changed since I last scribbled my thoughts down here. The most amazing thing that has happened lately is that I have finally found the perfect companion as my travel buddy. Her name is Sherpa. A beautiful soul with twins running in her heart! The Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT. The companion I always longed for. After a lovely journey of 12,000 km in mere 6 months, it is safe to say that she likes me too.

We have been travelling to numerous places. Like I did with Rover(RE Desert Storm-2014) and Captain (HH Karizma ZMR-2010). Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Goa, Karnataka and my backyard, Maharashtra. It’s a beautiful feeling how making up on the distances can make you feel alive. I have always said that the soul purpose of my life is to travel and explore till I can. Well, cheers to the next chapter in this humanly life, that we decide to live in many ways.

It was in the month of November 2018 that I quit my job at a very reputed automobile magazine as a photographer and parted my ways to explore another page in my life that I would love to bookmark. Before taking a leap into the next big endeavour, I decided to go on a road-trip to the humble old Goa. You see, I always had a thing for Goa and every time somebody got a new vehicle in my circle, we did a road trip to the serene, unexplored places of Goa. Hence, the ride was inevitable. But, this time, it was different. The sense of liberty and freedom with Sherpa cannot be settled into words (not that I am good at it anyway).

The hunger for long voyages didn’t end here. In fact it was the start of everything beautiful. I decided to introduce Sherpa to the Himalayas to which I always refer to as my humble abode. And, thus started a long journey of 4500 km to the the western province of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamkot. 7 Days and 4500 km in that spine chilling cold of December. Sure, everybody thought “He has gone nuts. ” But hey ! I gotta do what I gotta do. It’s hard to explain what I get by spending almost my whole savings on travelling to those who want to live their lives in a traditional way. But hey ! everybody has their own hustles.

This trip was one of the best rides I did in a long time. And, No ! This is not what I say after every ride. Ah! Whom I am kidding. Every ride has been better than previous one. Meeting new people, touching new hearts and getting to know myself better day by day by being on that road is priceless !

I think this enough to pump you up for my next big post about how did it go exploring some new terrains with my beloved Sherpa. I shall be back really soon ! Till then I hope these simple and soulful images keep you entertained .

Ciao !
